Bigger and better than ever before, our competition aimed at showcasing the country’s most expressive, little faces is back for 2014.
Our ‘Little Face of Venture’ competition will launch next week, as we scale the country to find a ‘little face’ with bags of personality and heaps of character, to become the face of Venture.
This year’s competition, is open to kids aged 0 – 12 and will run from March – June 2014, in association with MOT Models. The winner will be awarded a one-year professional modeling contract and have their photo displayed in all participating studios. They’ll also receive a year’s supply of shoes courtesy of Start-rite and a LEGO prize to the value of £185.
The regional winner from each studio will receive a pair of shoes courtesy of Start-rite, a LEGO prize to the value of £25 and will also receive their winning image in a hand-made Venture frame worth over £350. During this competition, for every child who takes part a £1 donation will go to WellChild.
To participate all you have to do is purchase a full family photography voucher and enjoy your Venture Photography experience. Your photographer will choose the best photo of your little one from those shown at your private cinematic viewing, and the studio will upload it onto the Little Face of Venture website.
The competition will see each of our 27 studios post photographs of participating children to an online gallery at www.littlefaceofventure.co.uk, where family and friends can vote for their favourite image. Entries close on 23 May and voting closes on 6 June.
The 27 regional winners will then be considered by the judging panel consisting of Venture Photography’s creative director Richard Mayfield, Alison Griffin, director of MOT Models and Kathryn Bristow, head of MOT’s Junior Division.
We’ll be catching up with the parents of Rowan Alexander Stone, The Little Face of Venture 2012, to find out what he’s been up to since winning last year in a blog post later this month. In the meantime, here’s his gorgeous shot that won the judges over last time…altogether now… “awwwwwww!”
