Prince George’s first official family portrait

Prince George first photo

Here at Venture, we love that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen to release intimate family photographs for Prince George’s first official portrait.
We especially love that whilst Kate is cradling baby George, William has got his arm around the couple’s cocker spaniel, Lupo. Even Tilly the retriever, the Middleton family pet, makes an appearance!
For generations, professional shots of new additions to the royal family have been taken by renowned society photographers. William and Kate have clearly steered away from royal protocol, having chosen Michael Middleton, Kate’s father, to shoot the historic images – a very endearing decision indeed.
Despite the fact that Mr Middleton broke a cardinal rule of photography by shooting into the light, these pictures showcase just how lovely and charming our future generations of rulers are.
In our experience, we’ve found that what makes a great photo is when love and happiness shine through, and Kate and William’s relaxed family portrait has definitely hit the nail on the head.
