The Best of British

It is very rare to find an undeveloped sector within the retail market of any country. But it’s even more so to find an established brand and business model that could readily fill such a gap.

So if that business model also included great earnings potential, the brand already dominated the premium end of the market in its home country and the concept was hugely exciting, surely that would be too good to be true?

Welcome to portrait photography in its most contemporary and stylish form. Welcome to Venture.

An International franchise with Venture represents a unique opportunity to introduce our concept into a defined and exclusive territory. The size of the territory very much depends on the capability of the franchisee and the potential number of studios that the territory could support. However, we would expect a franchisee to open and operate a minimum of 5 studios.

On the following pages you’ll find more information about international franchising with Venture. If you like what you see, please get in touch via the 'enquire' page.

It’s always nice to hear from people who are already involved in a business. Neil is our franchisee in Connecticut, USA.

Neil Hamilton's story

"My first exposure to the Venture brand was as a customer at one of the UK studios. Having been through the ‘Venture Experience’ and having previously lived in the US for a number of years, it was clear that this was a brand which would be extremely well received in the consumer driven US market.

We currently operate two studios in southern Connecticut, USA, both of which are trading well, especially in what are undoubtedly tough times for many people and businesses. This continued success validates both the brand and the business model as conceived by Venture and executed locally.

This validation is the basis of plans to open additional locations through 2009/10 and beyond. Our customers love what we do from a photographic point of view, enjoy the experience we provide as a whole (which is so different to anything else previously offered) and are therefore willing to spend, more often than not, a considerably higher dollar amount than they had initially anticipated."
