Make A Day of Your Venture Photography Experience

Higginson Park

There is a lot going on near the Venture Marlow Studio to turn your family photographic experience into a fun afternoon or evening.

Visit Higginson Park with its wonderful children's playground to let your little ones burn off even more energy after their fun photographic session.

We would also highly recommend taking a stroll by the river to admire the swans or the statue of Marlow's very own Sir Steven Redgrave.

Marlow Common

Another great way to turn your Venture Photography session into an enjoyable day trip is to drive just out of town to Marlow Common. With its amazing network of World War 1 training trenches, the largest preserved network in the UK, it will be a history lesson and fun afternoon all wrapped in one.

Thai Square Restaurant

Awarded the Prime Minister's Award of Thailand for the best Thai restaurant in the UK year (2006-2007), Thai Square on West Street, is a fine-dining Thai cuisine restaurant. Located a few minutes from our studio, we know that you will enjoy reflecting upon your amazing Venture photographs after your preview while sampling a fantastic array of Thai food in this enjoyable atmosphere.

Once we have a confirmed time and date arranged for your Viewing, you can follow the below link and automatically book your table at a suitable time to follow.

Other pubs and restaurants...

For Italian try Francescos, a friendly family restaurant just a minute away from our studio...or Zizzis or Pizza Express in the High Street.  For fantastic Indian food, how about Malik's a branch of Heston Blumenthal's favourite Indian restaurant, also on the High Street.  For great, simple dishes in a modern and stylish environment, try The Marlow Bar & Grill or The Chequers for amazing steaks.  We also love the very cosy Whiskey Bar at The Chequers.  Brasserie Gerard offers simple French food and a welcoming atmosphere......

Marlow shopping

A terrific place to shop, with everything within easy walking distance in a very pleasant friendly local High Street with plenty of places to sop off for a reviving coffee as you shop - from The White Company and Cath Kidston, Bang & Olufsen and Links of London to Jack Wills, Fatface and White Stuff....and a host of independent retailers you won't find anywhere else.  Our particular favourite is The Shed just off the High Street, a treasure trove of interesting and eclectic clothes, accessories and knicknacks....and for children old and young try The Beehive, our favourite old fashioned sweet shop, just around the corner from our studio.....
