Welcome to Venture Studios’ momentous celebration as we proudly commemorate our 25th anniversary! We embarked on this incredible journey 25 years ago, capturing cherished family moments that would stand the test of time. As we look back, it’s awe-inspiring to witness how much the world and the photography industry have evolved in these past 25 years.;

Amidst all the changes and challenges, we are immensely proud to stand tall, not only as survivors but as thriving artists with over 17 studios across the UK, as well as spreading our passion for photography to studios in the US and Hong Kong. Join us as we take a trip down memory lane and raise our lenses to the countless memories we’ve frozen in time, and to the bright future that lies ahead!

So, what other companies were established in 1998?;

Google Inc

In the same year, Venture Photography embarked on its remarkable journey, another tech giant was born that would forever change the digital landscape. Back in 1998, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, two visionary Ph.D. students at Stanford University in California, laid the foundation for what would become the tech behemoth we know today as Google. With financial backing from notable investors like Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, and Stanford University professor David Cheriton, Google began its ascent to dominance in the market.;

Over the years, Google’s innovative approach and commitment to enhancing user experience propelled it to unparalleled heights. Fast forward to January 2020, Google’s profound impact on the world was underscored when it became the fourth American company to achieve a staggering market cap of $1 trillion (£768bn). Even after a quarter of a century, Google continues to be at the forefront of the tech revolution, reshaping industries and enriching lives worldwide.

Hitachi eBworx

In the same year, another pioneering venture emerged with a visionary mission. Hitachi eBworx was founded with a clear objective: to become the Most Trusted & Recognised Global Financial IT Solution Provider. Since its inception, the company has been dedicated to delivering cutting-edge financial technology solutions, setting a new standard of excellence in the industry.

Paramount Classics

In 1998, the esteemed film distribution company, Paramount Classics, was established, leaving an indelible mark on the world of art-house cinema. Throughout its illustrious history, Paramount Classics has brought to audiences a diverse array of thought-provoking and captivating films. From the heart-warming “You Can Count on Me” to the enchanting “Sunshine,” their curated selection has consistently celebrated the artistry of filmmaking.

How cool is it that Venture Studios gets to sit proudly alongside these amazing companies, founded in the same year, each leaving a lasting impact in their respective industries!

But what else happened in 1998?

1998 truly was a remarkable year, witnessing the birth of some of the most influential entities in history. Among the coolest innovations was undoubtedly the launch of Google, which would go on to revolutionise the way we access information and navigate the digital world. But it wasn’t just on Earth where ground-breaking endeavours were taking place. Up above, in the vastness of space, another awe-inspiring project was underway: the assembly of the International Space Station (ISS). On December 4th, NASA embarked on a momentous mission, sending a six-person crew aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour to connect the American Unity node to the Russian Zarya module, also known as the Functional Cargo Block (FGB).;
