August Bank Holiday weekend is fast approaching, and for many of us it represents the end of summer. Even though we may have warm sunny weather into September – and sometimes even October – there is already a definite hint of autumn in the air. And as the schools prepare to go back it really does feel like the end of one season and the beginning of the next.

So it’s important to make the most of some quality time this Bank Holiday weekend. Let’s face it – the next Bank Holiday after this one is Christmas!

Whatever you decide to do though, make sure that you have some photographs to treasure. Even though at the time this weekend is simply “just another Bank Holiday”, when you look back in years to come there will be some special significance to it that you wish you had captured when you had the chance.

For example, if you have children that are about to start school or change schools or move away to go to University, they will change dramatically by doing that. So why not capture them now, as they are at this exciting transition point in their lives?

For other family members there may be significant birthdays or anniversaries ahead, weddings or new babies on the way, or maybe you are thinking of moving home or changing jobs? For a whole variety of reasons this could be the last Bank Holiday in your current circumstances, so it’s a really good time to create #memoriesforever.
