Practice, Practice, Practice – With a photographer pointing their camera at you and you are then both instructed to kiss; it is natural to be awkward and even a bit nervously giddy at first. It is a new scenario that you are in, so something as routine as kissing your partner can then feel alien! That is why practicing and warming up is essential because before you know it, you will both feel comfortable and settled with the photographer and camera around.

Don’t Overthink It – Remember that it is the photographer’s job to be versatile and capture the best angles for the perfect kissing picture. So if you are preoccupied with thinking how to look good kissing in pictures, the best advice would be to forget the camera is there and kiss like you normally would. The photographer will instruct if one person should move a bit to the side or something needs to be tweaked; but overall remaining as natural as possible is best.

Use Your Hands – A passionate embrace often includes the use of hands – such as moving one person’s hair to the side or caressing their neck etc. Kissing does not just have to be on the mouth either.
