Introducing Our Newest Arrival | The Maidstone Newborn Studio!
Welcoming a newborn into the world is an incredibly special and magical experience for any family. And what better way to capture those precious early moments than with a professional newborn photography session?
That’s why we are thrilled to announce that our Maidstone studio have launched a brand new studio room, dedicated entirely to their newborn photoshoots. Our expert photographers are ready to create stunning, timeless portraits of your little one that you will treasure for a lifetime.
From the soft lighting to the cozy props, every detail has been carefully designed to ensure that you and your baby feel comfortable and at ease throughout the session. We can’t wait to welcome you and your family to our Maidstone studio and capture the beauty and wonder of this incredible new chapter in your lives.
We sat down with Izhar, the proud studio owner, to hear all about the inspiration behind the new studio space. Izzy’s passion for photography is evident as he shared his journey of starting out as a wedding photographer, to eventually establishing his own studio in Palmers Green and Kent.
Why did you decide to open the newborn studio?
Izzy: “Demand! We were having to turn newborn shoots away as we couldn’t cater for them in the studio, particularly at the weekend.”
Can you describe the type of photography styles you offer in this session?
Izzy: “The different photography styles we offer include a mixture of posed and natural newborn photography. With posed newborn photography we can get the adorable sleepy poses positioned on a bean bag or wrapped up. We also like to use a variety of props for this style.;
We then like to put the baby on a beanbag on their back and get some natural photos of them and their natural expressions.;
While the baby is the focus of the session, we also always include parents and siblings. Family photography is very important as it documents the connection between baby and each member of the family. For this kind of photography we offer silhouette style, signature and statement.“
How do you go about selecting and training your newborn photographers?
Izzy: “We select based on personality, experience and skills. Newborn photography is different to a typical family group session.;They need training, baby care, attention to detail and experience.”
What advice would you give to a parent looking to book a newborn photoshoot?
Izzy: “I would tell parents to book their newborn sessions within the first 3 weeks. There is no perfect time, but babies tend to sleep a lot more during the first 3 weeks. Also, be prepared to be in the studio for up to 2 hours. Newborn sessions are very much ‘baby led’ and the majority of the session is spent feeding your baby and waiting for them to fall into a deep sleep.”
Can you tell us about any exciting new developments or plans for the future of your studio?;
Izzy: “We plan on developing and enhancing our photographers already amazing skill set, by aiming to get all photographers winning awards with Venture and with the BIPP. We always stride to improve our services and experience, as we pride ourselves on customer service and our reviews weekly show this.”
