We’re Back!! Venture Maidstone Re-opens
Meet Venture Studios Maidstone
We are so excited to introduce you to the newly opened Maidstone studio, joining our other fantastic studios across the UK, Hong Kong and America. Please welcome our Maidstone team to the Venture family!
Founded in 1998, we are the UK’s leading family portrait photographer. All of our photographers are fully trained to the highest standard and undergo intense training to produce the beautiful images that we are known to create. Since launching in 1998 we have photographed over 750k families and created 4 million pieces of framed art.
Let’s introduce you to our new Maidstone family…
Izzy – Studio Owner
Izhar aka Izzy, is the owner of our Maidstone studio. He started his photography career as a wedding photographer before taking ownership of the Palmers Green Venture studio. After 3 successful years he moved locations to open in his hometown of Kent.
Izzy is married with 2 beautiful children, so knows all about how important it is to capture those precious moments in time. He is a massive Liverpool football fan with a love for test match cricket, sports and cycling. He has a keen interest in wall art and enjoys creating artistic pieces for his customers.
Emily – Photographer
Emily is a bright and bubbly character with an-ever changing hair colour, so expect to see many colours during your appointments with them! Coming to Venture with a degree in Fine Art as well as a background in Gig and Portrait photography, they love to create digital art pieces so look out for those in your shows!
They have spent a majority of their life living overseas in both Dubai and South Korea and have a wealth of stories to tell about their travels. A huge pet lover, Emily would love to meet all of your furry and unique family members!

Jess – Photographer
Jess is originally from Kingston upon Thames, however has spent a portion of her life studying Media and Digital Practice in Portsmouth, the great waterfront city! Having recently moved to Maidstone this year, she will be full of recommendations for the best places to visit after your photoshoot. An experienced Portrait photographer, she loves capturing each person’s unique personality through her lens.
As well as this she is a huge lover of 90’s and 00’s fashion and will love bringing that splash of colour to your shows!
May – Photographer
May originates from Johannesburg in South Africa however now resides in Kent with her fiance. She is the youngest of 3 and just so happens to have the same birthday as Beyonce! With a degree in Photography and Video production, May loves to celebrate her culture within her work and aspires to be bold and creative throughout her work using bold patterns and pops of colour.
Her favourite fruit is Mango be it in drink or fruit form and her happiest place is when she’s relaxing at the beach.
Where is the Maidstone Studio?
Something you may not know about our location is that it is a returning studio! Our purpose built studio is located on a buzzing high street, with lots of coffee shops and pubs nearby so that you can make a full day out of your studio visit. Built next to Brenchley Gardens, families can enjoy a lovely time at the park either before or after your visit. You can find parking located at the studio to make transporting family members and bags super easy. If you’re not driving to the studio, that’s fine! You can find our studio next to the Maidstone East Station and Wetherspoons pub (if you’re looking for some pub grub!). If you’re still looking for activities to fill in your day, our studio is super close to the popular Fremlin Walk and river Medway which is only 5 minutes away.
We can’t wait to welcome you into our studio! All customers are greeted with free tea and coffee, and we even pop open the popcorn for our viewings! Toilets and changing rooms can be found inside the studio and we’re here to help you every step of the way!
