Mark –Studio Owner

Studio and business owner Mark, has over 30 years of experience in the family portrait industry.  He began his career as a junior photographer working his way through every possible photographic scenario imaginable with a wealth of outside business experience leading him to become the captain of our ship and a proper marketing guru, steering everyone, from client to colleague, through the waters with a safe pair of hands on the wheel. He’s brill to work with, not only because he gives every one of us an adequate free reign allowing, under his ultimate control, our creative talents to come to the fore ..but he buys the cookies too! A perfectionist in everything he does with a keen eye to ensuring the experience for both client and staff in the studios is a pretty fine one!

Lewis – Studio Manager

The ‘Big Man’ Lewis – a gentle giant of a man with a deep laugh and a huge sense of fun. Lewis heads up our photography team with a wealth of world-wide training, experience and genuine care for his clients which, when combined with his natural talent, his penchant for fine art practices, and the most incredible pet photography we have ever seen, makes him a legend throughout the team and a pleasure to work with every day. Lewis has been with the Venture Photography group for some years but still manages to keep his work fresh, personalised and of the utmost calibre as he takes us to the next level.

Lisa – Bookings

Lisa has worked for Venture longer than Venture has existed!! She eats, sleeps and breathes the client experience with professional, helpful knowledge delivered in a fun and friendly manner. There is nothing this lovely lady doesn’t know about the diary, the viewing room and the after sale service. She is a gem of a lady with a big smile and a glint in her eye.

Sue – Bookings

‘Our Sue’- a valued member of the bookings team who balances the diary and bringing up her gorgeous daughter too. Sue works from home (if she calls you might even get to hear her cutey dogs in the background). She is super- efficient and brilliant at finding the perfect diary session for your shoot. When she is in the studios, it will be Sue calming your pets and cuddling your babies (with your permission of course).

Sophie –Photographer

Our Sophie! A very artistic, calm and creative lady whose company throughout the shoot you will certainly enjoy. Sophie started her career as a ‘boudoir’ photographer, so if a glamorous maternity and bump shoot is your ‘thing’ Sophie is your ‘go to’ photographer.

She ALWAYS goes the extra mile to bring her own gentleness to capture the very finest new baby images to cherish and yet is more than happy to jump around with your toddlers and teens. She loves dogs and will happily undertake unusual photography briefs, spending time researching varied photography briefs to cater for almost every request you can think of!

Saskia – Photographer

Saskia is a bubbly character in sessions and viewings – you’re guaranteed to smile with Saskia around! Her background is in couples and wedding photography so she’s a pro when it comes to engagement sessions and generation group shots. She is always looking to improve her skills and is undertaking the full Venture Academy training programme. 

In her spare time, Saskia competes as a boxer representing the local area in competitions and tournaments which means she is more than ready to run around with active children in the studio. She has also experienced being in front of the camera as a customer so she totally understands how it feels to be in the studio for the first time and everything that comes with that. 

Alex –Production

Our in- house edit wizard. An incredible talent hidden behind a great big beard! He is super clever at removing everything that is unwanted on images and adding extra bits that are. He can whiten teeth, clean nails, shoes and noses and ssshhhhh fill in bald spots and smooth away wrinkles – we all love Alex to bits.

Georgia –Bookings

‘G’ started her career with us as a Saturday girl, serving teas and coffees and making fresh popcorn for the viewing room visitors. She now has properly joined our Venture family to undertake our social media, doing video reels, behind the scenes and all sorts! Even getting the team involved! Check out her work on our website, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. She’s fun to work with and keen to please everyone who visits, normally dressed with a splash of pink or matching hair accessory!

Alice –Photographer

Soft and gentle Alice- a photographer of extraordinary ability, She is the ‘quiet one’ of the team AND gives the photographer skill to editing too. She is an absolute powerhouse of exceptional talent. Alice goes out of her way to ensure her client’s needs are met in a welcoming and tranquil environment gaining a photographic result beyond words. It’s Alice’s work that brings a tear to the eye for many a parent at the viewing and has a couple of the viewers reaching for a tissue too! You think we would all be hardened to it by now? Not a chance when Alice is at work. She catches us off guard with her easy use of your accessories, achieving the softer shots that mums and dads love so much of their precious newborn babies.
