We have no dedicated parking at Venture Cardiff but there is lots of residential parking around the studio area.

We are surrounded by lots of shops and cafes around Venture Cardiff. We are also very near to Roath Park meaning there is lots to do after your photoshoot with us.

Studio Open Since 2002
Milton – Studio Manager
From the age of 12, Milton knew he wanted to capture time and preserve it forever. Taking pictures became a way of life, through school, army and eventually studies. Working at a founding studio then launching Cardiff in 2002, Milton has been a passionate brand ambassador since the beginning of Venture.
He loves working within a great team and feels it’s a privilege to be able to do what he loves every day; still capturing time, 30 years on from when he first started.
Paige – Photographer
Paige is a local Cardiff girl. She may be little, but what she lacks in height she makes up for in her explosive personality in the studio.
You can often find her obsessing over tortoises and pretty much all animals, she’ll be sure to bring you out of your shell! When she’s not in the studio, Paige always has a coffee to hand and a decent book.
Rhiannon – Photographer
Rhiannon is the pocket rocket of the studio. She loves photographing babies & young families and is always excited to try creative lighting styles and new photographic techniques.
When she’s not in the studio, Rhi can usually be found at the top of a rock-climbing wall, walking her little pug Ted, or creating something magical on her sewing machine.
Katie – Photographer
Originally from Kent, Katie’s the latest to join our team. Passionate about sustainability and animals, Katie loves capturing your pet’s personalities on camera. Her enthusiasm for photography is infectious, just don’t get her started on photographic processing techniques!
When in the wild you can find Katie sipping a matcha and curling up with a good history book!
Sol – Photographer
Sorelle (Sol) first experienced Venture as a teenager in 2003 when she came to the Cardiff studio for a family shoot. Inspired by how much she enjoyed the experience, when she finished school, she applied for a job at the studio as a production assistant and worked her way up to be a fully trained Venture photographer.
She left the studio to have a family but has now returned to what she loves doing. When she’s not being a photographer and a mum, she’s also chair of the PTA and a volunteer leader in a Scout group.
Catherine – Diary Manager
Catherine is originally from Carmarthen, she moved to Cardiff for university over a decade ago. You’ll usually find her at the end of the phone chatting with our clients and really finding out what’s important to them. Cath’s always full of fab ideas to help families get the most out of their session.
When she’s not on the phone, you’ll find her by the kettle making sure the whole team has a hot drink. There’s no such thing as “spare time” for Cath as she’s always running around after her two young children.
Ellie – Diary Manager
Ellie is the newest member of the diary team. Her great organisational and friendly communication skills are perfect for this role as she’s always wanted to work in a creative environment.
Ellie loves pets! Talking about all the four-legged family members when booking sessions is her favourite part of the job. When she’s not at work, she enjoys long walks with her Labrador Kobi.

At Venture Cardiff we welcome props of all shapes and sizes whether it be a motorbike, car, horse or something else. We have large doors to accommodate large items so that you can truly make your photoshoot as special and unique to you as possible.
How it Works
Venture Studios Cardiff delivers a fun and friendly photography experience for all types of occasions, whether it’s to mark a celebration or if it’s just for fun! We offer four different types of photoshoot experience packages; Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond for couples and individuals, families, pets, maternity and newborn, and cake smash. Our teams are trained to make the photoshoot process as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, so your images feel natural and relaxed for the best results.
Once you arrive at your local Venture Photography Studio, you’ll be greeted by our lovely team to walk you through the photography process. After your photoshoot you’ll then be invited back for a viewing session where you can see all of the photos taken during your photo shoot, and choose your favourite. You’ll then receive a beautiful, printed version of your favourite photo in a frame. You also have the opportunity to purchase further images and frames from our wide selection.
