Our highly trained photographers know just how to capture those split-second moments where your baby is let loose to have as much fun as possible and make as much mess as they can with a birthday smash cake photo session.

Our relaxed and laid-back studios have plenty of space for your baby to sit, stand and crawl around – so you can enjoy yourself – watching your little one create as much cake craziness as they can.

The studios are warm and inviting with soft lighting, allowing our expert photographers to capture your baby truly having the time of their lives.

Bring a change of outfits, or other props and toys to create a bespoke cake smash photoshoot designed just for you.

Didn’t make it in time for your baby’s first birthday? Older children love Cake Smash too and at Venture Studio we encourage a cake smash photoshoot at any age! And don’t forget about your pets – you can find/bake a cake for any member of your family, even the furry ones.

  • Each studio has a selection of packages available for additional framed images. Digital images can be purchased as part of these packages but are not sold individually. Please contact your local studio directly for pricing.
  • Please note a cake is not provided, you will need to bring your own to the photoshoot

What to expect from a cake smash photoshoot?

  • After you have purchased a voucher from our website. You will receive a discovery call from your chosen studio, so we can find out about you & your baby, what you would like and tailor your experience accordingly
  • What happens on the day? No two babies (or cakes!) are the same – so neither are our cake smash photoshoots. We’ll capture those unforgettable, fun moments where your baby plays happily with their cake in a world of their own
  • Babies can vary widely in their reactions – and that’s just fine with us. Some simply love it and dive straight in…others need to be shown what to do & lent a helping hand. Whatever your baby does, our photographers will capture those special moments of icing covered faces & hands along with pure joy, smiles & laughter
  • You’re welcome to bring a change of outfits, personal items, blankets, toys or anything that you want to capture your baby & those exciting moments where your baby makes a massive cake smash mess
  • After your photoshoot, we will organise a follow up appointment where you can come back at your leisure, choose and purchase the photographs and frames you love, in a cinema-style experience.
