Venture may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time by posting the amended Terms and Conditions on the Venture site.

Venture Photography – Open Voucher Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to Venture Photography’s Silver, Gold, and Platinum Open Vouchers. Please read them carefully before purchase and/or redemption.

1. Voucher Description

Open Vouchers allow the purchaser or recipient to choose their preferred photoshoot experience after purchase.

The following photoshoot options are available with an Open Voucher:

Family Photoshoot
Maternity Photoshoot
Baby Photoshoot
Cake Smash Photoshoot
Pet Photoshoot
Couples Photoshoot

Open Vouchers are ideal for gifts or for those who cannot decide which photoshoot type to select at checkout. The recipient can choose their preferred session type when they register the voucher.

2. Voucher Use

Open Vouchers can only be redeemed for the photoshoot types listed above.
They cannot be exchanged for any other services, photoshoots, or products offered on the Venture Photography website or in-studio.
Each voucher entitles the holder to one photoshoot experience plus the product package included at their voucher level (Silver, Gold, or Platinum).

3. What’s Included by Voucher Level

Silver Open Voucher (valued at £315)

A bespoke one-hour photoshoot for up to 15 people and/or pets.
Choice of Family, Maternity, Baby, Cake Smash, Pet or Couples photoshoot.
Stunning images captured by one of our highly skilled photographers.

Gold Open Voucher (valued at £550)

A bespoke one-hour photoshoot for up to 15 people.

Diamond Open Voucher (valued at £1150)

What’s included in a Venture Diamond Photoshoot Package

4. Booking Process

After receiving the voucher, the recipient must register it online and select their preferred photoshoot type.
The chosen Venture studio will then contact the recipient by email, text, or phone to arrange a suitable date and time for the session.
Bookings are subject to studio availability.

5. Rescheduling & Cancellations

Please provide a minimum of 5 days’ notice if you need to reschedule.
Cancellations with less than 5 days’ notice may result in forfeiting the session or deposit, at the discretion of the studio.

6. Expiry Date

Open Vouchers must be booked and used within the validity period stated on the voucher (6 months from purchase date).
Expired vouchers cannot be redeemed or extended unless agreed in writing with Venture Photography.

7. Non-Transferable & Non-Refundable

Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Vouchers are transferable as gifts but can only be used once.

8. Experience Restrictions

Open Vouchers cannot be used for photoshoots outside the listed categories (e.g., commercial, headshots, or bespoke sessions).
Venture reserves the right to refuse redemption if the voucher is used for an ineligible service.
General Venture Studios terms and conditions apply to all open Voucher purchases and can be found in the Term and conditions section on our website.

9. Liability

Venture Photography is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged vouchers.
Replacement vouchers may be issued at Venture’s discretion but are not guaranteed.

10. Changes to Terms

Venture Photography reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be published on our website.

Pets Factor 2025

The competition is open to all domestic pets* Please note any rare or exotic animals will need to be confirmed with the studio in advance.

To enter the competition, you must have booked and attended a Venture photography session and your cinematic viewing, where you will agree with your photographer, on the photograph to be entered into the competition. https://www.venturephotography.com/shop/promo/pets-factor/

Anyone who has attended a family or pet photoshoot since 1st January 2024 can also enter the competition by contacting the studio they attended and selecting the image they would like to submit. https://www.venturephotography.com/competition/the-pets-factor/

Timeline
1st Jan 2024 – customers may enter if they had a Venture photoshoot on or after this date
w/c 24th March 2025 – Launch of Pets Factor– product on sale plus entries open
17th September 2025 – All entries must be submitted
22nd September 2025 – Voting opens
27th October 2025 – Voting closes
29th October 2025 – winners from each studio go to an independent judging panel
31st October 2025 – studio winners and shortlisted entries are announced for each region
3rd November 2025 – overall winner is announced for each region

All entries must be submitted by Wednesday, 17th September 2025, by 10 am. Entries received after this deadline will not be considered.

The live voting launches on our website on Monday, 22nd September 2025, and will run until midnight on Monday, 27th October 2025.

The studio is defined by the locations in the UK, Hong Kong or the US where we have studios and where the image entered into the competition was taken.

A region is defined as either the UK, Hong Kong or the United States.

Studio winners within each region will be decided based on the highest number of genuine votes (no duplicates or ‘dummy’ emails will be included in the count). There will only be one winner from each studio who will progress to the next stage of the competition.

All studio winners will then be submitted to an independent judging panel. This panel will discuss each entry and then decide on four shortlisted entries for each region. The shortlisted entries will consist of one overall winner plus three runners-up for each region.

The studio winners plus the final four shortlisted entries will be announced via email, Instagram and Facebook @venturestudiosuk, on 31st October 2025, for each specific region. Never share your personal information with anyone online. We will never ask for payment information via social media.

The overall winner, will be announced via email, Instagram and Facebook @venturestudiosuk on 3rd November 2025, for each specific region. Each region runs independently, so each region ends with one winner each.

All prizes must be claimed

Winners must claim prizes by 13 April 2026. After this date: no further prize orders will be accepted.

Pets Factor Terms & Conditions

Entries must be made by the parent or legal guardian. The competition is open to families who reside in the United Kingdom, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Republic of Ireland, Hong Kong and United States.
Employees and families of the promoter and its affiliate companies, agencies and anyone professionally connected with the promotion are not permitted to enter.
The competition is open to pets at the time of entry into the competition.
Entrants enter the promotion by buying a Venture experience voucher from www.venturephotography.com or direct with a Venture studio, including if you were gifted the voucher or won a voucher through a competition run by Venture or one of their partners.
Past clients can also enter if they have attended a photoshoot and viewing since 1st January 2024 – otherwise, they must purchase and attend a new photoshoot to enter. The customer will supply their contact details on purchasing a voucher and will be contacted by their local studio. Alternatively, the customer can contact the studio directly after purchasing their voucher.
The customer must attend the booked cinematic viewing session in order to enter the competition.
Upon viewing their images, the customer will agree the image to be entered along with their photographer. The studio will submit the image for submission to the competition gallery with the owner signing a model release form. If the form is not signed the image will be unable to be made public and therefore not visible for voting.
Entrants to this campaign agree to have their first name, age, studio location and photo posted on the competition gallery, our social media channels and marketing emails. The image and details will remain live for the duration of the campaign.
All entries must be submitted by Wednesday 17th September 2025 by 10 am. It is recommended that clients have attended their photoshoot and viewing by Sunday 7th September 2025 in order to meet the deadline for submission.
Customers can still use their voucher after this time up until the expiry date, but unfortunately won’t be entered into the competition.
The live voting launches on Monday 22nd September 2025 and will run until midnight Saturday 27th October.
The winner for each studio will be the image with the highest genuine votes. This excludes any duplicate or dummy emails. Duplicates and votes deemed to be not genuine will be excluded from the count.
The studio winners’ images will then be sent to an independent panel of judges, where three runners-up and an overall winner for each region will be selected. They will be selected on the basis of the image, not the number of votes received. The judging criteria includes image style, lighting, composition and how the child presents in the image. Details of the panel members, including the independent judges and the decision, can be obtained by contacting the Marketing Department, Venture Franchise Services Ltd, Unit 1. The decision of the judges is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Winners and Prize Structure: One winner will be selected from each of our 16 studios, based on receiving the highest number of genuine votes. These 16 studio winners will then be reviewed by a judging panel, who will select one overall winner, based on the technical quality of the photography and the pet’s ability to relax and look adorable in front of the camera. The panel will also choose a 2nd and 3rd place winner, with the remaining 13 finalists recognised as runners-up. The prize breakdown is as follows:

Thirteen studio winners to win a goody bag

The overall winner will receive a frame of the winning image worth £700. (Metro Maxi 28″ x 28″, frameless style or Gallery Maxi 43” x 33″ – 10 frame colour options available), will become the Pet face of Venture for the next 12 months and will be showcased on our advertising and marketing collateral. They will also win; a bundle of goodies from our partners and a Pets at Home voucher for £250

The two runners-up will receive a small gallery or metro frame worth £400.
The thirteen studio winners will receive a goodie bag bespoke for their pet and the owner
The overall competition winner will become the official Pets Factor Winner within their region for 12 months. With their images being used nationally and internationally, where appropriate, during Venture 2025 and 2026 marketing campaigns.
Notification Dates: Studio winners and shortlisted entries will be announced on 31st October 2025. The overall winners for each region will be announced on 3rd November 2025.
Winners will be posted on Venture’s website, via email, Instagram and Facebook @venturestudiosuk.
All prizes are non-transferable and no alternative monetary value is available.
All winners may be required to take part in any relevant publicity and products featured in Venture marketing communications.
The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside their reasonable control.

Midlands Merlin card competition– Terms and Conditions 2025

Winners will be notified via SMS, phone call, or email.
The completion closes on 6th August 2025 at 23.59 UK time
Entries submitted through social comments or direct messages, or any other forms of communication that are not the competition entry form will not be counted
The overall winner will receive up to 4 x Merlin Discovery Passes (for immediate family members in the same household over 90cm tall, each worth £99) and a Venture Gold Experience valued at £550.
This is a competition being ran by our 5 Midlands based studios and the winner and runners up will be selected at random to win a shoot at the 5 Midlands based studio. Use our studio finder search here: https://www.venturephotography.com/links/studio-finder/ to see if you can travel to our Leamington Spa, Cheltenham, Birmingham, Leicester or Nottingham branch before entering the competition. Travel costs or expenses are not included in this competition, getting to these studios will be at teh winners own cost.
Tickets can be collected at the session or sent as e-tickets following the viewing appointment.
No cash alternative is available.
Runners-up will be contacted via SMS, email, or phone call. Each will receive the full Bronze Experience, including a 1-hour photoshoot, editing and retouching, a cinematic viewing, and a 7×5” framed tabletop portrait.
Winners are selected at random

Free Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

By entering a prize draw on our website you are agreeing to these prize draw terms and conditions. The prize draw is being run by Venture Franchise Service Ltd. (VFS)

All prizes must be claimed within 12 months of the winner being notified by email or other official communication. After this period, the prize will be considered forfeited and no longer valid for redemption.

Eligibility to enter

The prize draw is open to entrants over 18 years of age. (VFS staff members are excluded from the draw).
In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win.
A maximum of one entry per individual is permitted.
The prize draw is free to enter.

How to enter

Winner announcement

The winner will be notified after the competition ends via the email provided during subscription.
VFS will attempt to contact the winner by email up to two times.
If the winner does not respond to the emails notifying them of their win within 14 days of the second email, they will lose their right to the prize, and VFS reserves the right to choose and notify a new winner.

Receipt of the prize

Please allow 14 days for delivery of the prize or alternative collection or delivery arrangements may be made through mutual agreement.

Data protection and publicity

You consent to any personal information you provide in entering the prize draw being used by VFS for the purposes of administering the prize draw, and for those purposes as defined within our privacy notice.

The winner agrees to the release of their first name and place of work to any other prize draw participants if requested via VFS.
An announcement of the winners first name, city and social media handle will be made via VFS’s social media.

Limitation of Liability

All images remain the intellectual property of Venture Photography. Clients who purchase digital images are granted a limited license for personal, non-commercial use. Commercial usage requires separate licensing.

Liability Disclaimer
Venture Photography accepts no liability for personal injury, equipment damage, or loss incurred during a photoshoot, except where legally required.

Rescheduling Policy
Clients may reschedule a photography session with at least 5 days notice prior to their appointment. Cancellations or changes within the 5 days window may incur a fee or loss of deposit.

Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for delays or cancellations due to events beyond its control (e.g., extreme weather, government action).

Data Protection
Venture Photography processes personal data per its Privacy Policy and GDPR requirements. Client images and details are confidential, unless permission is granted for marketing and other media as stated on the model release document.

Venture Photography may update these terms at any time. The current version can be found on our website, and continued service constitutes acceptance.

The following rules apply to all experience vouchers

The Experience Voucher (EV) must be used to attend your photo session within six months from date of purchase or it will no longer be valid.
The EV may not be used in conjunction with any other discount or offer, and may only be used as described.
The EV may not be used to purchase photographs from a previous photoshoot.
The EV is not transferable.
The EV is valid only for the selected photoshoot type at the point of purchase. Where a family photoshoot is chosen, all family members must attend. This is at the discretion of the individual studio.
The studio photoshoot is valued at £150.
Only one EV may be used per family per year (this means you cannot have more than one family photoshoot within a 12 month period)
Dates and times available for your photoshoot may vary from studio to studio.
At the time of booking your photoshoot, you will be asked to pay a £25 deposit to secure your appointment, which will be either used against any frames or images purchased, or refunded to the original payment method at the end of your Venture experience.
Please provide a minimum of five days notice for cancellation, otherwise the deposit will be retained.
When the photoshoot is rescheduled, the deposit will transfer over to the new date.
Venture photography photoshoots involve some physical activity, which is undertaken at your own risk.
You may not sell the EV to any third parties or via the internet without firstly obtaining the express written consent of Venture Franchise Services Limited. Consent may be subject to any conditions which Venture Franchise Services Limited choose to impose. Venture Franchise Services Limited reserve the right at all times to refuse to permit any sale of the EV by you to a third party.
The EV is only redeemable with proof of purchase from an authorised representative of a Venture Photography Studio governed by a franchise licence from Venture Franchise Services Limited.

Newborn Photography – Parent Supervision & Safety Policy

For all Venture newborn photography sessions, the safety and wellbeing of your baby is our absolute priority. As such, we require the following:

A parent or legal guardian must be present at all times during the shoot.
Newborns must never be left unattended with the photographer or studio team your child remains your responsibility at all times whilst at a Venture Studio.
Parents are expected to take the lead role in supervising and assisting babies safety and comfort throughout the session.This includes positioning, supporting, and observing the baby during all stages of the photoshoot to ensure their comfort and safety. Although the team will assist and advise parents with placing babies on newborn studio set ups the responsible adults/ parents are responsible for keeping babies safe and in a secure place.
The photographer may offer creative direction and pose suggestions, and can safely swaddle baby (if parents cannot do this themselves) if you agree to this at the photography session.
By attending your session, you agree to these terms and acknowledge that you are fully responsible for the care and supervision of your child throughout the photoshoot.
