What to expect from a Venture newborn photoshoot?
- After you have purchased a voucher from our website. You will receive a discovery call from your chosen studio, so we can find out about you and your baby, what you would like and tailor your experience accordingly.
- What happens on the day? Our new born photo sessions are really led by baby & how they are feeling on the day. We will take a variety of photos in a range of natural poses. We also have a number of ideas, props and set ups we can use – but we’ll go with the flow and capture those perfect new born moments without you or baby even realising.
- You’re welcome to bring blankets, baby’s favourite teddy, props, accessories or anything that you want to capture in those early days.
- After your photoshoot, we will organise a follow up appointment where you can come back at your leisure, choose and purchase the photographs and frames you love, in a cinema-style experience.
What size frame do I get with this photoshoot?
Can I order additional images and frames?
Yes absolutely! Our photoshoot experiences include one printed image with a frame. Digital images are not included in this photoshoot experience, but are available in all studios, starting from £295 for four digital images. These are suitable for social media and printable up to 7” x 5”.
Each studio has a wide selection of packages available to suit all budgets, which include both digital and framed images. Finance options are available.
About the Mum and Baby Treatbox Package Deal
We specialise in capturing those sleepy, curled up new born poses that are unique to the first few weeks of your baby’s life, when they want to curl up like they are still tucked up inside mum’s tummy.
Our Mum and Baby treatbox includes gorgeous goodies for new mums alongside a two-hour bespoke newborn photoshoot, to capture the new addition to the family.
Our photographers pose your baby safely, in our warm and cosy studio – using soft lighting – with a two-hour shoot, allowing plenty of time for those baby cuddles and feeding.
Newborn babies change so quickly, so the sooner your shoot can take place after the baby is born – to capture those chubby cheeks, tiny wiggly toes and soft tufts of newborn hair – the better. Your newborn photoshoot should ideally take place within the first 2 weeks – allowing us to capture those wonderful natural moments in perfect intimate detail for you to treasure.
As well as capturing your new bundle, we can also take time to get some beautiful family pics with Mums, Dads, or maybe with their big brother or sister.

Newborn Photography Package FAQ’s
Do you do my hair and make up?
We do not offer hair and makeup, so we always suggest that family members prepare themselves at home before arriving at the studio. However we strongly suggest bringing along their make up or styling tools for an extra touch up before and during the photoshoot.
I might need to feed my baby, is that a problem?
No problem at all, our studios are equipped with comfy feeding areas and privacy if you require it.
Do you provide the props/outfits?
Here at Venture Studios we want to tell YOUR story, and the best way to do this is with your own personal items from home. During your fire up call your photographer will ask many questions all about YOU and your family’s likes, dislikes, hobbies, personality traits etc and advise you on the things to bring to personalise your photoshoot. Some studio’s also have limited amounts of props available however you will need to discuss this with your photographer prior to the photoshoot.
